- The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold by ShopCity LTD. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, we have the right to repair, replace or a refund you for the product.

| 8. Fair Trading Act 1986 |
|
- The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act

| 9. Exchange Policy |
|
- If you think you have a case for a genuine exchange request then please contact us first before sending your order back to us, otherwise it may get declined and returned to you. In all cases proof of purchase is required in order to get an exchange. Please note products returned to us for an exchange must be in a re-saleable condition with packaging intact and all labels etc returned with the item.

| 10. How to return a product |
|
- If you think that you have a valid reason to return under the policies described above please contact us before sending your order back to us as the processes we use are different depending upon your situation. If you don’t contact us first it could delay your request or result in your claim being rejected. In all cases proof of purchase will be necessary to process your request.

| 11. Change to orders |
|
- Unfortunately, once you've submitted your order and payment has been accepted we can't make any changes to it. It's not that we don’t want to but we move fast so you get your parcel quickly.

| 12. Out of Stock and Backorders |
|
- While we do everything we can to make sure our stock levels are accurate at all times there may be occasions due to unforeseen circumstances where we are unable to fulfill your order or source a replacement product. If this should occur we will contact you and offer either a store credit for the value of your purchase or a full refund or you can back order the part.

| 13. Shipping Costs and Delivery Times |
|
- We do our best to dispatch all orders received before 3pm the same day but please allow 1 – 2 working days for processing.
From this point most of our orders are received within 1 – 2 days but please allow additional time for some rural addresses. Note: Orders placed in the weekends or on public holidays will not be processed until the following business day.
- Shipping costs are detailed on the product description. When buying multiple items we will, when possible, combine shipping to save you money.
- ShopCity does not ship goods outside New Zealand.

| 14. Warranty Policy |
| ShopCity’s warranty policy covers our products for the period stated in the product description from the purchase date. Warranty claims cover any fault, defect or failure occurring as a result of the manufacturing process. Damage or faults occurring as a result of misuse, accident, or wear and tear is not covered by our warranty policy. If the product is still under warranty then the repair will be at our expense including the freight to return the repaired or replacement product. If the product is out of warranty, then we can still have the product repaired, however, the cost of the repair will be charged to the customer.
ShopCity’s Warranty Policy has three solutions to any claim made:
- Wherever possible we will endeavour to repair any fault to a factory issue and return it to you at no charge.
- Where repair is not possible or practical we will replace the product with the same or similar product.
- Where neither of the above solutions is possible or practical, then we will refund you for the value of the product, freight excluded.

| 15. Continued use of Website |
|
- Your use of the Website is subject to ongoing vetting and authorisation by ShopCity, and we reserve the right to suspend your use of the website or ban you from using the website at any time for any reason. Without limiting the circumstances in which we may take such action, we may do so if you commit any breach of these terms and conditions, if you are bankrupt or insolvent, if you commit any crime in the course of using the website or if we receive any complaints about your use of the website.
